Attendance

A. Attendance is required at all regular, ritual, special, philanthropy, program and recruitment meetings. Excessive absences will be taken to the Vice President of Standards. All excuses for events must be turned into the Recording Secretary by the following times:
1. Two days in advance for meetings and rituals.
2. Three days in advance for Leader’s Council and Cabinet.
3. One week in advance for Recruitment Workshops.
4. One week in advance for Philanthropic Events.
5. One week in advance for Initiation and Initiation Ceremonies.
6. One month in advance for Recruitment Events.
B. All of these excuses must be reviewed by the Vice President of Standards. If no excuse is turned in the member is subject to a fine that is stated in these bylaws.
C. Attendance at all chapter and house meetings is mandatory. The only excuses acceptable for missing the meetings shall be:
a. An unavoidable class schedule.
b. A test at the time of the meeting.
c. A help session with the professor at the time of the meeting.
d. Member own illness.
e. Death of a family member or loved one.
f. Work is inexcusable for LC meetings, AOΠ Philanthropy, initiation, recruitment workshops, chapter meetings, and recruitment.
Any excuse other than those listed above will be subject to the approval of the Vice President of Standards Committee.
